Aloha families!

My name is Nora and I feel so honored and excited to be able to provide support to you in this new chapter of life.I moved to Oahu from California 3 years ago after graduating from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors degree in Sociology. My plan was to only stay here for a year but that changed when I saw the huge need for childcare on Oahu. I have worked in childcare as a private nanny for nearly 10 years. During this time I have gotten the opportunity to work in so many different homes with children of all ages and abilities. Through my work I have discovered my passion for caring for not only children, but families as a whole!My love for working closely with families is what led me to pursue becoming a postpartum doula. I first learned what a doula was when one of my nanny clients suggested that I should become one.

After looking into it I decided very quickly that this would be a great career path for me because I could help my clients in a whole new way.I have been absolutely loving being able to care for newborns and their families during this precious time. I strive to make my families feel informed, understood and at ease when facing any new obstacles that arise during the postpartum time. I know that an extra helping hand can make all the difference in making this an enjoyable and memorable experience.
